JAKARTA, GARDA BERITA  - Pecatur tuan rumah Medina Warda berhasil gagalkan GMW Jana Krivec (Slovenia) untuk menjuaraqi Japfa Chess Festival VI, setelah pada babak terakhir mengalahkan Jana Krivec, Jumat (28/10), di Hotel Kartika Chandra Jakarta.

Dengan kekalahan Jana tersebut, membuat GMW Sopiko Guramishivilli (Georgia) tampil sebagai juara setelah bermain remis dengan Chelsie Monica. Sopiko tampil sebagai juara dengan 6,5 point, Jana yang sejak babak 5 sampai babak 9, mengambil alih pimpinan klasemen diposisi kedua dengan 6 point. Sementara GMW Anna Burtasova (Rusia) menempati juara ketiga dengan 5,5 point

Medina yang berhasil menggagalkan Jana Krivec akhirnya menempati posisi keempat dengan 5 point, menggeser rekannya Chelsie Monica yang di awal-awal babak tampil gemilang dan memimpin klasemen sampai babak 4, akhirnya turun ke posisi 5 dengan 4,5 point. Pecatur tuan rumah lainnya, Dewi Citra diposisi juru kunci keenam dengan 2,5 point.

Sementara itu di kelompok terbuka putri, juara pertamaq diraih anggota Pelatnas SEAG, Evi Lindiawati (DKI) dengan total raihan 7,5 point dari 9 babak yang dilombakan. Posisi kedua dan ketiga masing-masing ditempati oleh Yemi Jelsen (Riau) dan anggota Pelatnas SEAG lainnya, KAdek Iin yang sama-sama mengantongi 7 point.


Sementara di terbuka putra, GM Susanto Megaranto t(Jabar) , tampil sebagaqi juara setelah mengantongi 8 point, disusul Dede Lioe (DKI) dan HAmdani Rudin (Sumut) yang sama-sama mengantongi 7,5 point.
