Various tournaments will be organised as part of the festival including round robin tournament (IM - Karel Opočenský Memorial), open tournaments Golden Prague - Open A and Open B (Karel Průcha Memorial). FIDE President participated in the Opening Ceremony held in the Louvre Museum. The organizers of Alekhine Memorial offered a special tour around Louvre for participants and guests of the tournament.
